You re unlikely to kick a heated mattress pad off the bed in the middle of the night. I love the sherpa covering which is so much softer and fluffier than regular mattress covers and because it is fluffy you don t feel wiring as you can with some regular heated mattress covers. And because you lie on top of a heated mattress pad the heat rises toward your body. And it s made to fit a very thick mattress.

I don t like hitting my foot on it. We own a biddeford heated mattress pad king size for almost 4 years now. So for that i give it three stars. The pad isn t easily fitted onto the mattress but it went down eventually and after sleeping on it a few days it conforms to the shape of the mattress.
