Bike internal cable routing sleeve.
My question is how do i join up the gear outer with the sleeve.
The sleeves extend up out of the holes in the down tube by around 2cm.
Reproduction of the spoke lock key which i described here.
Tie one around the cable outer hose at each.
I m sure there s an obvious answer that i m missing that you guys can help me with i just don t want to do anything rash like cutting back the sleeves until i know how.

Reproduce spoke lock key2.
If the cables hoses are able to move around in the frame s cable guides or internal routing you can stop the noise with a couple of small zipties.
Internal cable routing serves another purpose which is to protect the cables or wires in the case of electronic components from being snagged or severed in a crash or if the bike falls allowing the cable or wire to strike something.
There is tubing specifically designed for this purpose and you basically snip the derailleur end off the old cable reverse feed the sleeve tubing along the cable until it pops out the next port in the frame.
Internal routing isn t that much harder to re cable even in the absence of internal sleeves.
I got this to thread cables in my fuji transonic internal cables.
The internal diameter is sufficient to slide the brake cable through but the outside diameter is unfortunately too large to fit through the built in housing stops in the frame for the rear brake.
Bikes with internal cables can be notoriously difficult to service.
I can still use it as an internal protection sleeve inside the frame as the rear.
